Survey on Reopening of Educational Institutions — An Analysis
A survey conducted by a group of young adults in the National Capital revealed varied opinions on reopening educational institutions. The largest group, 28%, favoured reopening only after vaccination, indicating public concern for safety. Close behind, 24% supported opening institutions exclusively for exams and practical work, reflecting a balanced approach. A significant 20% insisted on reopening only when cases fall below 0.3%, showing caution. Meanwhile, 15% believed schools should reopen only for Classes 9 to 12. Only 8% supported reopening for all classes immediately, suggesting minimal risk-takers among respondents. A small 5% remained undecided. Overall, the majority prioritised safety over immediate reopening, with vaccination emerging as the most preferred condition.
