फ़सल की रक्षा

रामलाल एक मेहनती किसान था। पूर्णिमा की चाँदनी में नहाई हुई लहलहाती फ़सल देखकर उसका मन खुशी से भर गया। महीनों की मेहनत आज सार्थक लग रही थी। वह आनंदमग्न चला जा रहा था कि अचानक उसने देखा — खेत के एक कोने से धुआँ उठ रहा है।

उसका दिल धड़क उठा। वह दौड़ा और देखा कि किसी ने पराली जलाई थी, जो हवा से उसकी फ़सल की ओर बढ़ रही थी। उसने तुरंत पड़ोसियों को जगाया। सबने मिलकर मिट्टी डालकर आग बुझाई।
